Topgun Fun Blackpool

Top Gun Fun Blackpool is a registered charity with the intention to preserve, maintain and display the RAF Tornado GR1
As pilots flying from blackpool for more than 60 years combined, Neil Wild and Jason Stead have been loyal supporters of this ever changing airport, from owning a flying school and a schedule airline service to providing pleasure flights on South Port beach. We were left wondering what we could do to interest people back into this fantastic airport, once famous for building nearly 3000 Wellington Bombers to support World War II.
A fantastic opportunity arose to acquire this ZA355 Tornado Panavia GR1 fighter jet, and bring it to blackpool airport for the public to experience and see. We wanted to offer something different...to be able to actually sit inside the complete cockpit while closing operations are performed along with some real movie props and a memorable photo and video footage to take away.
  • Get up close to this amazing weapon from the 80's. The only near complete surviving aircraft not in a museum.
  • Learn the history of the Tornado Fighter Jet
  • Sit in the cockpit, suited up with helmet and movie props like the Topgun movie
  • Take home photos, videos and great memories.
